Charlotte Burgmans (NL) has made art a part of her life since childhood, taking classes before she could even write. After living in several countries, her move to the United States in 2003 gave her career momentum. At Saddleback College (Mission Viejo, CA) she studied painting, ceramics, and printmaking, and soon exhibited in juried shows across California, Texas, and New York. Her first solo exhibition of abstract paintings took place in San Clemente, CA, in 2004, and her work has since appeared in films and TV shows, including The Real Housewives of Orange County.

Over time, her work evolved into wall reliefs made of airplane plywood. Her first relief earned 3rd Prize at the 2018 Juried Exhibition in Laguna Beach, CA. After many years in California, she now works from her studio in Hilversum. Today her wall reliefs are shown internationally and are held in corporate and private collections worldwide.
